Ladies and Gentlemen, please meet the Holy Grail of my book collection, the White's Fine Editions.
In my quest to find all of the beautiful copies of Pride and Prejudice, I came across these. Published by White's Books, they were published with an accompanying 9 White's Pocket Classics, which I've also collected slowly. They feature gorgeous covers and matching spines, and are quite large for collectible books. They look absolutely amazing on my shelf, but they were terrifically difficult to find. I ordered Treasure Island only to have it lost somewhere in the mail between the UK and US (I may or may not have cried...) or received the incorrect book 6 times. And I ordered 4 copies of Jane Eyre, only to receive the wrong copy each and every time, finally getting the right one on the 5th try. They were worth the hunt though, just look at those stunners!
